Good morning. I am very excited to receive and hear your message about Pentecost. I had to attend a different denomination a few times now, because of family issues. The pastor expects you, if I can put it like that, to pray in tongues! Being a born Catholic, this upsets me quite a bit. So I have now started to read all the passages in the Bible about this. I have felt the power of the Holy Spirit. I had to write an intro to a Crèche prayer service at our church, I sat down to my computer and my fingers took off. When I was done, the text was wonderful, Mary said yes was the basis of the talk. It was so good that I showed it to our priest to make sure it was as good as I thought and he smiled and said he too was using that topic for his homily. My brother is a priest and great “homilist” and he says exactly what you just said. Most times he says “these are not my words, but God is speaking through me”.He also says that people hear exactly what God wants them to hear. It truly is the miracle of the Holy Spirit!

Hello Bruce – I am 80 years old and cannot go to church as I no longer drive that distance. I want to thank you for your daily inspirational messages which I can read and reflect on this has had such an impact on my life. I live alone and I am often overcome with grief when I think of my lifelong partner of 54 years no longer with me. This is the 6th year that I am without my soulmate and it doesnt get any easier, the loss overwhelms me. Thank you for sharing this with time with me.
