Thank you Bruce , you and your team can be in the middle of nowhere and we will still listen to your message, Holy Spirit has its ways to connect you to us so for me this has been my most prayful and devoted Lent season and yes all we can do is put our children at the feet of his cross snd trust. Thank you Bruce. Your explanation to our concerns about our children not practicing is so heartwarming. Through the example of the Beatitudes prayer you make it so much easier to understand. Yes, we will continue to pray and trust our Heavenly Father who loves us all. God bless you and your ministry. I am so grateful to God that I found you and your team, 🙏🙏

I get what your saying Bruce about ‘the Poor in Spirit’ , I have always felt very Blest that I love my Faith and I know without it, many challenges in my life would be, for the want of a better word ‘undoable’ .
Thank you and safe travels to you and your team

Many years ago a friend of mine explained her 19 y.o. son (school friend of one of my children) unexpectedly becoming a father as being God’s way of putting the brakes on his lifestyle – so true and a demonstration of her pure trust in God resolving some behaviour issues. I coupled that with listening to you at a Parish mission some years back on the topic of our children not attending church. I handed the issue to God to deal with as He sees fit and concluded this: each of us has a relationship with God and that relationship… Read more »

Thank you, Bruce, for sharing your discernment of what “Poor in Spirit may mean” -( I have always thought of it as having humility.) This is very consoling for me as a parent, grandparent & friend of loved ones who do not choose to encounter Jesus & grow in relationship with God, although I am sure most of them still “believe in God”. Lord, grant us the grace to let go, to cover them in prayer & to trust in Your unconditional, infinite & eternal love for them & to accept that they have their own journey, which will hopefully… Read more »

I join you in that precious heartfelt prayer… and thank Him for His watchful eyes and hands on policy and hearing and answering us on their behalf!

Dutch Sheets in Chapter 10 of his book Intercessory Prayer covers the subject of praying for the unbeliever in quite some detail. I strongly recommend it to all believers. In my words it can be very briefly summarised by naming the person and specifically praying for: Godly people to be daily in their lives, that God would lift the veil of unbelief, for the Holy Spirit to hover over them, cast down anything which would exalt itself against the knowledge of God, eg pride, take down any strongholds, eg fear, materialism, opinions, bind Satan from placing all wicked thoughts or… Read more »

What a fabulous, encouraging word for us parents today Bruce. It was interesting to hear that this is the most requested prayer. I feel more peaceful and reassured as you rightly said that God loves our children even more than we do. We trust in our Lord, and keep praying for our loved ones. 🙏

Great talk… I always thought that “ blessed are the poor in spirit” referred to people like me who are in desperate need of being closer to Him. A convert at the age of 14 1/2 to Catholicism, at 77 I am still in need of His Mercy and Grace and always will be and I am so very grateful to be a small part of His Church and this ministry that changes lives and gives hope for this crazy world. Be very blessed Bruce, Rosemary and team! He wants none to perish and loving kindness the best way to… Read more »

Jessy you are so needed help men be men especially embracing our young men… women can’t do that….Our Father made a huge deposit in you and expects a big return😉👍

Thank you, I needed to hear this today. I always worry that my two grandchildren, who are not being raised in the Faith because my son no longer participates in Mass and the sacraments will not have the comfort that Faith gives us in hard times. But hearing that God loves them more than I do gives me hope, Thank you❤️

Thank you Bruce, I was in a state of despair with my children. I cannot even mention God in any way without them shouting me down. If anyone shouts at me I run away- coward to that I am. I have started to say the prayer of Abandonment, and leave it to Jesus to put some sense into them. It is not easy when ones children are in their 50s. I was 80 last week.I hide in my room and pray on my own. My husband converted after we were married for 5 years, I wish he was still here… Read more »

Very much needed this one. I do know my kids have faith and believe in God, but don’t believe in organized religion. But I do pray for them all the time to use their faith more and remember what the church can bring to them.

A wonderfully inspiring episode about ‘blessed are the poor in spirit’.
I once read/heard the following –

‘I carry the presence of God.
When I meet with family members, they are in the presence of God because God is with me.’
