I really look forward to listening to you every morning before I get out of bed. It helps me tremendously for the rest of the day. Overcoming your giants has really touched me. You have been part of my life since I listened to your talks at OLQP Greystanes. A very big thanks Bruce. You have made a difference to my life. I thank the Lord for you! You kept me from suicide and put my feet back on the narrow path. Everyday, you give us a small do-able bite, or invitation to grow. Bruce you are doing supplying an amazing ministry. I listen to you every morning before I get out of bed. I pray for you and your team every night and in my daily Rosary and yesterday at Mass I offered up my Mass for you. Your daily messages have and are doing wonderful things in my life. What a wonderful series this has been Bruce and team. I like all below listen to your talks daily 1st thing in the morning and I always take away one or two points that I need to work on. Talking to professional’s is a great idea as I personally have been down that track and it has helped me, so now that I have got past that hurdle it’s the spiritual wisdom and truth that I live for and endeavour to focus on as this is where one finds peace. Yesterday I allowed the darkness of depression rule my day. Depression is my giant right now & I have sought help through anti-depressants & by seeking God & His light. I prayed mightily for His Holy Spirit to come to me this morning. And this morning, first thing, He gave me you. You are one of the Christians I turn to in my day. Thank you Bruce for this confronting and much reflective message.I am looking at all my options and I’ve asked the Lord to speak to me through His word. The pages that fell open were the last page of Amos and the first page of Obadiah. I read both pages, then continued to read all pages from the prophet Obadiah.It did leave me a little perplexed and stunned. Both Prophets speak about the destruction and the restoration of Israel. I don’t usually comment but you asked for us to do so today. I needed your words this morning. They spoke to my situation. My Goliath is my current negative feelings toward my husband. He’s a kind caring man but lately we can’t seem to be nice to each other. I’m harboring these negative feelings and keep looping these thoughts around in my mind. I want to be like David.
